Blue Heron Winery

Wine connoisseur or not, there’s plenty to see and taste at Blue Heron Fruit Winery. Aside from a fine selection of fruit table wines and dessert wines, Blue Heron’s gift shop carries wine accessories and gourmet food products. They can also accommodate tours by appointment, and would be pleased to show you how their cranberries are grown and harvested. Open 10am – 6pm daily, they look forward to toasting your arrival!

Circle Farm Tour

A Circle Farm Tour is a road map that directs you to a variety of specialty farm-gate vendors, open air markets, heritage sites, nurseries, and special events. The tours are self-guided, meaning that you travel in your own car, at your own pace, when it suits you.

Expect to sample sticky sweet honey straight from the honeycomb, local fruit and dessert wines, fresh produce, and scrumptious baked goods. Add even more excitement to your tour with a fun filled flight-seeing experience or paddle the backwaters of Pitt Lake and top it off with a hike to Widgeon Falls for a picnic.

Cranberry Meadowmaze

Expect “ear-resistable” fun at Meadows Maze. Each year the Meadows Maze crew unveils an exciting new maze design. Kids will love the “a-mazing” 510 foot tube slide, hay wagon ride, petting zoo, bee observatory, and Lions “Goat” Bridge. Open August 1 to mid October. Tour groups, Companies (Team Building), large & small parties welcome.

Haney Farmers Market

The market is a fun-filled family event in downtown Maple Ridge. The perfect place to connect with friends, neighbors, and of course, farmers! Shop for fresh local produce, baked goods, delicious preserves, interesting gardening ideas, creative works of artisans, crafters and musicians – plenty of sights and sounds for everyone to enjoy!

Haney Farmers Market
runs every Saturday (rain or shine), 9am – 2pm, at Memorial Peace Park, May to October.

There is now a Pitt Meadows Farmers Market that runs every Sunday (rain or shine) 10am-2pm, at Spirit Square Park, June to September.

Honeyland

Discover the marvelous world of bees, honey, and organic blueberries with Dr. Bee. Find out how honey is extracted from the honeycombs, and where bee pollen, bee propolis, and royal jelly come from. Take part in Honeyland’s honey taste test. See if you can taste the difference between honey derived from a blueberry bush or a patch of wildflowers.

Did you know Dr. Bee raises honeybees that are less aggressive than the honeybees you would come across in the wild? Believe it!

Amsterdam Greenhouses & Garden Centre

Large-scale growers tend to import most of their products. Amsterdam Greenhouses is the only centre that sells exclusively B.C. products. In doing so, they support the local economy and local growers. Staff members are experienced highly-skilled gardeners who are always available to answer questions and dispense advice. Their goal is to help novice and experienced gardeners reap the physical, mental and emotional benefits of the hobby.

A beautiful village located in the heart of a brand new community on Barnston View Road, stop by for a coffee or to get your pet groomed! Then go for a stroll on Pitt Meadows extensive Dyke network that winds through the Fraser river.

McKinney Creek Market

Produce and flowers fresh as can be, direct from the farm. Hanging baskets, bedding plants, and vegetables avaliable April until October.

Alouette Tree Farm Ltd.

Started out as just a Christmas Tree farm but have now turned into so much more with blueberries, smoothies, coffee and ice cream at their farm gate stand which is open year around. Come Fall there is also a variety of pumpkins to choose from the pumpkin patch as well.

Bruce’s Country Market

They specialize in fresh, wild salmon from their own gillnetters and smoked salmon prepared according to their own traditional family smoking methods. There is also offer a wide variety of other seafood. In addition to their salmon and seafood department, there is a wide variety of gourmet groceries, fresh, conventional and organic produce, an amazing deli, a comprehensive health and wellness department, and a beautiful display of gifts.
